Abhishek Sharma Reflects on the Win and His Performance

“Getting a car is always a pleasure.”

“Of course, joining this team after winning the World Cup wasn`t easy for any opener. But we had a clear strategy to play with intent from the very first ball. I dedicated a lot of effort to this plan. To play this way, you truly need exceptional support from your coach and captain.”

“That support was consistent throughout the tournament, and even before. So, my objective was very clear: if I performed well and made an impact, it was for the team, and the team should win. Naturally, when you aim to play with such an aggressive style, you might fail sometimes, but it`s crucial to maintain the process.”
