The stage is now officially set for the AVC Men’s Volleyball Champions League Pontianak 2026. The eagerly awaited draw, held in Jakarta, has concluded, confirming the competitive pools and opening matchups for Asia’s premier club volleyball competition.
Scheduled to captivate audiences from May 13th to 17th in Pontianak, this prestigious tournament will feature eight elite teams, meticulously divided into two dynamic groups.
In Pool A, fans can look forward to an electrifying start as Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi takes on Zhaiyk VC in their opening fixture. Another compelling clash in this group will see Al Rayyan Ray go head-to-head with Hyundai Capital Skywalkers.
Meanwhile, Pool B promises its own share of drama, with SV.League set to face Nakhonratchasima Qmin C VC. The group also features a high-stakes encounter between Foolad Sirjan Iranian and Jakarta Garuda Jaya.


Following the intense group stage, the top two teams from each pool will advance to the semifinals, with the victors earning their place in the championship match to battle for continental supremacy.
AVC President Ramon Suzara highlighted the ever-growing international stature of the competition. He underscored that the stakes are particularly high this year, as the top two finishers will not only compete for the Asian title but also secure coveted berths in the illustrious World Club Championship, amplifying the competitive drive for all participating teams.
