Providence University has officially announced the departure of Kim English as its head men’s basketball coach, bringing an end to his three-season tenure at the helm of the program. The separation comes amidst a period of reported struggles and challenges faced by the team, leading to a mutual agreement to part ways.
English, who took over the coaching duties three seasons ago, will no longer lead the Friars. The university is expected to begin an immediate search for his successor to guide the men’s basketball program forward.
