Netherlands Confirmed as Host for FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships 2027

Sports News

The Netherlands has been officially designated as the host nation for the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in 2027, as jointly confirmed by the FIVB (International Volleyball Federation) and Volleyball World.

This decision followed a highly rigorous and competitive bidding process involving three shortlisted nations, all of whom presented commendable proposals. While every bid demonstrated significant quality and a strong potential for advancing the sport globally, the Netherlands distinguished itself with the most ambitious and extensive vision, planning to involve four cities across the country.

The Dutch National Federation (Nevobo) boasts extensive experience in organizing major volleyball tournaments. Their past successes include hosting events such as the Volleyball Nations League and previous editions of the FIVB Volleyball World Championships, showcasing their proven ability to successfully engage diverse communities throughout various regions.
