Bogdanka LUK Lublin delivered a strong performance against Energa Trefl Gdańsk, claiming a vital win that keeps them firmly in the hunt for second place. Mateusz Malinowski was named MVP for his outstanding 20-point contribution, complemented by Jakub Wachnik and Hilir Henno, who each added 16 points. Although Trefl mounted a spirited comeback in the third set, fueled by Tobias Brand’s impressive 23 points, Lublin maintained their composure to secure all three crucial points. This victory guarantees Lublin at least a third-place finish, while Trefl Gdańsk finds their playoff aspirations hanging by a thread, currently sitting in ninth.
ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle also triumphed on the road, defeating Cuprum Stilon Gorzów 3-1. After dominating the initial two sets, ZAKSA faced a fierce challenge in the third, losing a marathon set 41-39 to the hosts.
