UFC star Sean O`Malley recently disclosed his preferred opponent and financial expectations for a potential crossover boxing bout.
Speculation has intensified lately regarding high-profile crossover fights between mixed martial arts and boxing. While Ilia Topuria`s challenges to Terence Crawford have mostly been met with skepticism from fans and peers, another prominent UFC athlete, Sean O`Malley, has also expressed interest in pursuing such a venture.
With O`Malley currently eyeing a UFC event at the White House, he was recently prompted about a potential boxing debut.

Sean O`Malley Considers $5 Million Offer to Box Gervonta Davis
This isn`t the first time O`Malley has discussed facing a boxing superstar, as he revealed in his recent podcast with coach Tim Welch. Previously, “Suga” Sean had challenged Devin Haney to an MMA fight, a proposition widely considered improbable. Haney subsequently taunted O`Malley after his submission defeat to Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 316 earlier this year.
However, neither Haney nor Ryan Garcia, who was suggested as a potential foe during the podcast, stood out as O`Malley`s top choice.

The former UFC bantamweight champion outlined the financial incentive that would lure him into such a bout, ultimately naming Gervonta Davis, Jake Paul`s upcoming opponent, as his desired adversary.
“Honestly, for a quick payday, absolutely. I`m thinking around $10 million, but if they offered $5 million, I`d probably say yes. It`s tough to say. It would be an incredibly difficult fight. I`d rather fight Gervonta Davis.”
O`Malley has expressed a desire to fight Davis in the past, having challenged the knockout artist during his reign as UFC champion. “Suga” acknowledged that facing “Tank” Davis would be an immense challenge, but believes his fighting style would be better suited for that matchup.
Sean O`Malley Addresses Potential UFC Return Against Top Contender
Separately, O`Malley addressed rumors about his next UFC appearance in a recent YouTube video. While speculation suggested he was discussing a fight with Song Yadong later this year, O`Malley clarified that no official talks have taken place.
Nevertheless, O`Malley expressed enthusiasm for the potential matchup, hinting that it could indeed materialize.
“Song seems like an excellent next opponent. It makes sense, I like the matchup, it looks good. As for a date, December, January, February, even November – I`m ready. Call me next week, and I`ll probably say it`s too short notice, but I do like the match; it makes sense.”
He added:
“I`m healthy, feeling great, and training hard. Again, I like that matchup. Me versus Song – if that`s next, hell yeah!”
