Which NBA Stars Are Competing in EuroBasket 2025?

Sports News

EuroBasket 2025, the premier quadrennial tournament determining Europe`s basketball champion, is scheduled to tip off on August 27 and run until September 14. This edition will be co-hosted across Cyprus, Finland, Poland, and Latvia, featuring 24 national teams and a considerable roster of NBA players.

The tournament consistently highlights Europe`s top basketball talent, many of whom are familiar faces from the NBA. With the increasing number of international players thriving in the NBA, it`s now common for EuroBasket rosters to include some of the league`s elite. This year promises to showcase the biggest stars competing for their home countries.

Superstars such as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Dončić, and Nikola Jokić are among the headline-grabbing names confirmed for EuroBasket. While numerous NBA talents will vie for the European championship, French phenom Victor Wembanyama will not be participating this time, as he continues his recovery from deep vein thrombosis, which prematurely ended his previous NBA season. Despite Wembanyama`s absence, France still leads all nations with the highest number of NBA players heading into the competition.
